Fitted Furniture Options and Accessories
Crown Bedrooms offer a full service of design, manufacture and installation of bespoke fitted bedroom and home office furniture. All our furniture can be produced with or without various options designed to enhance the look and feel of your furniture. Here are the most popular ones, however if you have something specific in mind just ask - the answer is usually 'yes'!
Skirting - An additional 'chunky' skirting profile around the plinths of the units mitred to form a continuous plinth covering all joint lines between units. Please note all units are usually floor to ceiling (unless otherwise specified) and are finished off, as standard, with a cornice profile and top scribe up to the ceiling.
Soft Close - An additional mechanism added to both the hinges of the doors and to the drawers to give a quality damping action as they close to prevent any slamming. Please note that as standard we use class leading hinges from BLUM in a sleek in-line design and super-durable steel roller runners on all our drawers.
Backs & Tops - This is applicable to the wardrobe element of your fitted bedroom. We use 8mm backs and 15mm tops (not flexible ply or hardboard) securely fixed all round. Units are just as solid with or without and in some cases particularly where damp or condensation may have been a problem it may be preferable without. Please feel free to ask for advice.
High Gloss - For simplicity, all of our matt finishes are the same price and can be produced in any of our door designs (again all the same price!) and to absolutely any size. Hi gloss finishes are also available in conjunction with a matt carcass giving a stylish contrasting finish. Hi gloss finishes are only available in our Helsinki ('slab' style) door design.
Accessories
In order to complement your new furniture and finish off the look you are creating Crown Bedrooms offer a wealth of accessories. Please note, the following list is not exhaustive and as everything we make is completely bespoke if you have a particular requirement just ask - the answer is usually 'yes'!
Headboards (various shapes and sizes) in either a matching veneer finish or upholstered, dressing table stools (upholstered), wall mounted mirrors (framed rectangular or beautiful treble mirrors), free standing dressing table mirrors, tie & belt racks, upholstered window seats, full length mirrors, drawers within wardrobes, pull down hanging rails, open and slide back retractable TV doors, cable tidy hole inserts... please ask if you have any specific requirements.
